I tend to get car sick if I'm the passenger anyway, though it's handy if my other half can at least drive so that when I'm not feeling well they can drive my car for me when being car sick beats not being able to travel.

Is it because some places have really bad public transport? Is it an American thing? These changes in effort can be very foretelling of how he will be a year or two down the road. Plus more cars on the road is more pollution. I live in an extremely vast metropolitan area that technically has public transportation, but frankly, people in this city who refer to it as such need to be punched in the dating man without car for their ignorance.
It's not about money or material possesions but being realistic, why would a grown ass man not have a car which is very necessary in most parts of the USA you can't get around dating man without car one period? Additionally, I'd like the guy to have a license because I actually have a bit of a fear of driving, so if we were travelling long distances or something I'd want him to be able to drive at least part of the trip.
